Assessments & Clinical Support
Clearer Insight. A More Personalized Path Forward.

Every child's plan at Tila Promise begins with understanding — not assumptions. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) conduct comprehensive behavioral and skills-based assessments to identify your child's strengths, needs, and the goals that matter most to your family.
Our assessment services include:
- ABA assessments — evaluating skills across communication, social interaction, play, daily living, and learning readiness to establish a starting point for treatment.
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) — identifying why challenging behaviors occur so we can teach meaningful replacement skills.
- Individualized treatment planning — translating assessment results into a personalized plan with clear, measurable goals your family helps shape.
- Ongoing progress evaluation — reassessing regularly so your child's plan evolves as they grow.
A note for families beginning this journey: Tila Promise provides ABA assessments, skills-based assessment, and ABA treatment planning. We do not provide medical or psychological diagnostic evaluations. If your child has not yet received an autism diagnosis and you are unsure where to start, request a consultation — we are happy to help you understand possible next steps.

Assessment Frameworks We Use

Assessment tools may include:
- VB-MAPP
- Vineland-3
- PDDBI
- ABLLS-R
- and AFLS.
These frameworks help guide treatment planning across communication, social skills, daily living skills, learner readiness, functional routines, independence, and behavior support needs.
Understanding Your Child’s Needs
Assessment is more than completing a checklist.
A qualified clinician may gather information through caregiver interviews, observation, record review, skill-based assessment, and direct interaction with the child.
The specific assessment process depends on the referral question, clinical needs, service requirements, and available programs.

What Happens After Assessment
Assessment findings help guide the next steps in your child’s care. They may be used to identify meaningful treatment goals, develop an individualized care plan, recommend an appropriate level of support, guide caregiver training, coordinate with other providers, support authorization requests, and monitor progress over time.
